[摘　要]　简要分析了重庆旧城改造的背景和意义，剖析了重庆的城市格局和特色，并在遵循其格局的基础上就城市特色的保护和城市特色的建设问题提出了一些建议，以期能取得抛砖引玉的效果。

Abstract: The article introduced the background and significance of Chongqing's old city reconstruction concisely, analyzed the pattern and characteristic of Chongqing city. And at the same time the authors offered some suggestions about how to protect and build the city's character during the old city's rebuilding.
