[摘　要]　在介绍价值工程基本原理的基础上，阐述其在深圳蛇口集装箱码头二期水工工程中的应用、效益及体会。实践表明，价值工程可实现客户与承包商的互利共赢，实现提高功能及降低成本的统一，促进建筑企业现代化管理水平的提高。

Abstract: Based on the value engineering theory, discusses the application and benefit of value engineering in the Shenzhen Shekou container terminal phrase II project. Practice shows that win-win between client and contractor, integrate of function improvement and cost reduction shall be realized via the application of value engineering, and raise the level of modern management in construction enterprise. Value engineering has broad prospects for development in construction field.
