[摘　要]　价值工程在建筑工程设计中有广泛的应用价值。本文结合案例将基础工程作为一种独立完整的“产品”进行功能定义和功能评价，在此基础上进行方案评价，选定最优基础设计型式。基础设计是应用价值工程最有潜力的分部工程，可用该理论并结合实际分析比较，选择最合理的基础型式。

Abstract: Value Engineering（VE） has broad application in construction engineering design. Combining with a case, the paper conducts function definition and evaluation into foundation works as independent complete products, evaluates the schemes based on this, in order to choose the optimal foundation type. Foundation design is the most promising partitioned project for the application of VE, we can choose the most reasonable foundation type by this theory combining with practical analysis.
