[摘　要]　通过回顾质量保修金和保修期的演进过程，描述了缺陷、保修期、保修金的含义及他们之间的关系，指出了现行的保修金和保修期的不足和缺陷，提出了改进建议。

Abstract: According to reviewing the develepment process of retention money and quality guarantee period, the paper describes the meanings of defects, quality guarantee period and retention money, as well as their relationships. It points out the defects of retention money and quality guarantee period at present, and puts forward some suggestions.
